Each member of our staff possesses a high degree of professionalism, self-motivation, and dedication. At the same time, we're friendly and outgoing. We do everything we can to make our patients feel at ease.

Mark DeSimone, DDS, PC

After attending the Greenhill preparatory school in Addison, Texas, Dr. De Simone relocated to Southern California to attend college. In 2004, he began his dental school training at Louisiana State University, earning a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2008. After graduation, he returned to Texas and entered into general practice where he discovered that his passion in dentistry was in oral surgery and sedation services. He then decided to focus his career on providing these in-house surgery services for other practitioners.

In addition to his many distinguishing memberships, Dr. De Simone sits on the Board of Directors of the Dallas Academy of General Dentistry and is a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry and in the American Dental Implant Association.

Dr. De Simone loves what he does and enjoys being the type of dentist his patients can trust, depend upon, and turn to for their difficult dental problems. His philosophy is simple -- "We treat your family like you are family.

Jason Frazier, DDS, MS

Dr. Frazier grew up in a military family and had the opportunity to live in several places around the country before his family settled in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Science from Oklahoma State University. Dr. Frazier then moved to Texas to complete his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree at Baylor College of Dentistry, where he was selected into the Odontological Honor Society. After two years of practicing general dentistry, Dr. Frazier returned to school to complete a 3 year residency in Orthodontics at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He served as Chief Resident during the final year of his residency. He is currently a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, State of Texas Dental Association, and the North Texas Dental Society.

On a personal note, Dr. Frazier and his wife Kari are proud parents to two beautiful daughters, Leighton and Hadley. In his free time, Dr. Frazier enjoys reading, working out, watching hockey, and spending time with his family.

Nathan Gonzalez DDS

Dr. Nathan Gonzalez was born and raised in Benbrook, Texas, and received a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Biology from Texas A&M University before earning his dental degree from the Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. While at Baylor, Dr. Gonzalez was able to donate time to the under-served clinics around Dallas, Arlington, and Cleburne. He also has a passion for missions and has been fortunate to travel to Mexico on short trips to provide dental care.

Dr. Gonzalez is committed to providing excellent, comprehensive dental treatment and enjoys getting to know his patients and working to solve problems. He is licensed to provide oral conscious sedation for patient comfort as well. He is a member of the American Dental Association, State of Texas Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

On a personal note, Dr. Gonzalez has been married to his wife, Brittany, for 5 years and together they have a young daughter, Chole and a son, Lucas. They are members of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Dallas. Dr. Gonzalez enjoys spending free time in downtown Ft. Worth, watching and playing soccer, watching Aggie football, going to Rangers game, and working on his latest hobby, urban gardening. Dr. Gonzalez enjoys traveling and has been to Italy, Hungry, Czech Republic, Austria, and Japan.

Austin Hodges, DDS, MS

Dr. Austin Hodges is a native of Amarillo, Texas and attended Tascosa High School. During his summer breaks, he was involved with dental mission trips to Babicora, Mexico with his family dentist where he found an interest in dentistry. He received his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a 4.0 in Biomedical Sciences. He then received his four-year dental training at Baylor College of Dentistry graduating number 2 out of 103 dental students. Dr. A Hodges completed an additional three-year orthodontic residency program at Baylor College of Dentistry where he received his orthodontic certificate and masters in Oral Biology.

On a personal note, Dr. A Hodges enjoys spending time with family and friends, running, working out, shooting sporting clays, and community service.

Patrick Sam Hodges, DDS, MS

Dr. Patrick Hodges was born and raised in Amarillo, TX and graduated from Tascosa High School. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences at Texas A&M University, where he maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout all 4 years and graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors. Dr. P. Hodges received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Texas A&M University Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, TX. He graduated #1 out of 103 in his dental school class, maintaining a 4.0 GPA throughout all 4 years of dental school, to barely beat out his twin, Dr. A. Hodges. Dr. P. Hodges received a number of awards from dental school including the Alpha Omega Award, the First Scholastic Honors Gold Medal, and the American Association of Orthodontics Award for Exceptional Interest in the Development of the Oro-Facial Complex. He was also inducted into the Odontological Honor Society and the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society.

Dr. P. Hodges continued his education at Texas A&M University Baylor College of Dentistry where he received a Certificate in Orthodontics and a Master of Science in Oral Biology. The 3 year orthodontic residency is known for being one of the top orthodontic programs in the nation. The residents learn about nearly every orthodontic bracket system, appliance, technology, and clear aligners such as Invisalign. Dr. P. Hodges is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics and Texas Dental Association and believes in keeping up to date with the most current technology to treat his patients to the highest standard of care.

In addition to Dr. Patrick’s dental and orthodontic background, he is very family oriented. He got engaged this past February to Kathryn Watson of Richardson, TX; who is also in the dental field and works as a dental hygienist. Kathryn and Dr. P. Hodges plan to wed in December 2017. Dr. P. Hodges also enjoys snow skiing, bird hunting, hiking, and mountain biking.

Cory Jaetzold, DDS

Cory Jaetzold, DDS, is a native of Crowley, Texas and a graduate of Crowley High School. He received his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University and his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas. While at Baylor, he spent his last three years as the Class President, received several awards and accolades, served on numerous faculty/student committees, and dedicated time to acquiring advanced knowledge in the fields of Endodontics, Restorative Techniques and CAD/CAM dentistry. Dr. Jaetzold enjoys working with Fossum Family Dental because he has the autonomy to develop customized treatment plans for each patient using the most advanced techniques available.

Dr. Jaetzold is constantly researching newer and more advanced techniques to achieve each individual patient’s dental goals. This includes sleep apnea treatment, Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics (CEREC) training, Center for Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry (CARD) program and oral conscious sedation licensing for patients who desire that extra level of comfort. As an active member of several professional organizations, Dr. Jaetzold is well respected by his peers, and contributes to his profession regularly. Dr. Jaetzold maintains affiliations with the American Dental Association, State of Texas Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Center for Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry and American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.

Dr. Jaetzold has a passion for the underserved and has donated efforts to Mission East Dallas and Texas Mission of Mercy, while also traveling out of the country to Mexico and Nicaragua to provide dental care to the local populations.

On a personal note, Dr. Jaetzold enjoys spending time with his wife Jennifer, and children Lainey (7), Graeme (4), and Conner (3), and other close friends and family. His family attends St. Paul

Marilee Miller, DDS

Marilee Miller, DDS, was born and raised in San Antonio,TX where she attended Trinity University graduating summa cum laude with a degree in Biology. She moved north to Dallas to attend Baylor College of Dentistry where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery. While attending dental school, Dr. Miller was elected to the Baylor Odonatological Honor Society. She is currently a member of the American Dental Association and the Texas Dental Association.

Dr. Miller is a fourth generation dentist who is proud to continue the tradition of providing comprehensive, compassionate, and excellent family dentistry. She is licensed to provide oral conscious sedation for patient comfort. Her practicing philosophy is "to treat patients the way we would expect to be treated."

On a personal note, Marilee enjoys spending time with her husband and their golden retriever, Kozmo. She also enjoys going to Texas Ranger's games with friends or biking along the Trinity Trail in downtown Fort Worth on a sunny day.

Lauren Neufeld, DDS

Dr. Lauren Neufeld was born in Fort Worth and raised in Arlington, Texas. She attended the University of Texas at Arlington graduating Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Biology. She attended Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery. She is a member of the American Dental Association and the Texas Dental Association.

Dr. Neufeld is committed to providing excellent, comprehensive dental treatment and enjoys getting to know her patients and working to solve problems. She is licensed to provide oral conscious sedation for patient comfort as well.

On a personal note, Dr. Neufeld enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, running, watching the Dallas Stars, reading novels, and crafting.

Matthew Steffer, DDS, MS

Dr. Matthew Steffer is a native of Arlington, Texas, and is a graduate with honors of Baylor University, with a degree in Biochemistry. Dr. Steffer completed his dental degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, where he was elected to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society which highlights academic excellence. Dr. Steffer then completed a comprehensive program in periodontics at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, TX, where he earned his certificate in periodontics and Masters of Science in Oral Biology.

During his residency, Dr. Steffer served as the chief resident and completed a master’s thesis project studying minimally-invasive techniques for treating periodontal disease. He is also licensed to provide moderate levels of intravenous conscious sedation. Since the completion of his specialty training, Dr. Steffer achieved board certification status from the American Board of Periodontology by successfully completing rigorous written and oral examinations.

>Dr. Steffer has a passion for the underserved and has served on multiple dental mission trips to Guatemala, Honduras, and Mexico. He is a member of American Dental Association, State of Texas Dental Association, Fort Worth District Dental Society, American Academy of Periodontics, Southwest Society of Periodontics and Texas Society of Periodontics, allowing him opportunities to be on the cutting edge of new technologies and treatments available in dentistry. Dr. Steffer also participates in study clubs with dentists and dental hygienists, teaching them about new trends in periodontics.

On a personal note, Matthew has been married to his wife, Karen, for 6 years, and they have two young children - a son, Graham (3), and a daughter, Kaitlin (10 mo). Dr. Steffer and his family are members at Fellowship Bible Church in Dallas, where he teaches a kindergarten Sunday School class. In their spare time, they enjoy traveling, going to movies, and visiting family.

Catherine Whinery, DDS

Dr. Catherine Whinery has six years of dental experience and has happily served the patients of Texas Dental Resources since 2012. A Broken Arrow, OK native, Dr.Whinery received a BS in Nutritional Science from Oklahoma State University before beginning her dental studies at the Baylor College of Dentistry. Dr. Whinery enjoys establishing relationships based on trust with her patients in order to provide the highest quality compassionate dental care.

During dental school, Dr. Whinery was elected to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society and the Odonatological Honor Society. She is currently a member of the American Dental Association, and the State of Texas Dental Association. Dr. Whinery is committed to providing comprehensive dental care for the whole family; children and adults alike. Dr. Whinery is licensed to provide oral conscious sedation for the comfort and care of her patients.

On a personal note, Dr. Whinery is happily married with two daughters. She enjoys spending time with her family, crafting and running. A self-professed “neat freak,” you might catch her alphabetizing the spice rack in her down time.
